Since 2024, Lukas Winterberger has been a freelance actor, currently based in Basel. From 2019 to 2024, he was a member of the acting ensemble at the Koblenz Theatre. During his studies at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (HMTMH), he performed on the stages of the Oldenburg State Theatre and the Göttingen State Theatre. In Koblenz, his roles included appearances in *After Peer Gynt*, * The Good Person of Szechwan*, *Sunset Boulevard*, *Mary Magdalene*, *My Friend Harvey*, *Faith, Hope and Charity *, * West Side Story *, *Prince Friedrich of Homburg*, * The Caucasian Chalk Circle *, *After Delphi* (world premiere) , * Avenue Q *, *Romeo and Juliet*, and *Mary Stuart and the Cherry Orchard*.
On March 8, 2022, Lukas Winterberger received the "Encouragement Prize" from the Swiss Armin Ziegler Foundation for outstanding young artists in German-speaking countries.
At the 15 Minutes Festival in Cologne, he premiered together with Isabell Jung at the Tanzfaktur, on June 4, 2025, in the performance: I fucking try to tell you who I am, Shall we dance?
Lukas Winterberger gave various readings in 2025, including performances with the Flora Symphony Orchestra in Cologne and at the Arco-Pilates Studio (Cologne).
